SFLC.in has been documenting the impact of Internet shutdowns by recording the disruption caused by them in the day to day life of citizens. Continuing our efforts to create awareness around Internet Shutdowns and the impact they have on citizens, this video is part of the series of short films by SFLC.in on Internet Shutdowns and its impact which will be available in 5 Languages. These films aim at educating citizens on various aspects of the kill switch. We believe that Internet shutdowns cannot be used as a tool to suppress dissent and documenting stories of citizens suffering from the devastating effects of the Kill switch is the only way to measure the destruction an Internet Shutdown can have on citizens and their livelihood.
